What is Lingerie?

In India do we really understand the term 'Lingerie' and what this enitre suite of garments comprises of? I reckon ...NO.. for us it means the basic underwear with some other items like thongs, slip, camisole thrown in.

So.. what is Lingerie then? The noun lingerie has one meaning: women's underwear and nightclothes. And these undergarments are heavily eroticised in Western culture (wonder what are we waiting for?).

As one gentleman very nicely pointed out - "Why do I still see most women wearing the tightest pants or dresses, but still wearing granny underpants?". Have we ever wondered how our shapely backside (we only know how tough it is to keep it tough!) looks like when we make such a blunder? Or how horrid it looks when we wear a crazy jarring white Bra under a nice and tight white shirt? Therefore the need of the hour (or remidial action) is to understand the usage of the ones that we already know exist before we get all furry and lacy.

Why "The Strap Story"?

For those who know me perosnally will know for sure that i am talking about an addiction. For those who dont.... here is the gyan.

After having read many pages of irrelevant information in various magazines, blogs.. sites.. i realised that all of us talk about fashion, beauty & passion (the three most commmon and highly rated topics). But very rarely do we come across information, reading matreial or ask me for a utility called Lingerie - culminaiton of all three ----- fashion, beauty and passion.

So, ladies ... here we have a platform for discussing.. Lingerie in all its aspects..utility...trends...what's in... NOT to dos and a lot more!!!! (men are welcome to add their valued comments!)
